Terms & Conditions

1. The Sharp Berjiwa Rakyat, Sehati Sekeluarga Merdeka Campaign (the "Campaign") is organised by Sharp Electronics Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 199501027792 (356997-H) (the "Organiser").

2. The Campaign is open to all Malaysians aged 18 years and above (the "Participant(s)"), except for the employees of the Organiser including their immediate family members, their advertising and sales promotion agencies, as well as principals and sub-distributors.

3. The Campaign starts on the 1st- August 2021 at 00:00, and ends on 30th- September 2021 at 23:59 (the "Campaign Period"). Any entries received after the Campaign Period will not be entertained and will be disqualified.

4. As we value your privacy, please note that you will be given options with respect to whether you consent to the foregoing collection, storage, use and disclosure of the Information by our company, by choosing whether to submit the Information or not. By choosing to submit the Information to our company, this shall be deemed as your consent and agreement to these policies regarding the collection, storage, use and disclosure of the Information by our company. It is not obligatory for you to provide the Information to our company, however a failure to do so may result in our company being unable to sell our products and/or provide certain services including after sales services to you.

5. The Organiser reserves the right to amend, extend, or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice.

6. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the existing terms and conditions or introduce new terms and conditions which may supersede the original terms and conditions of the Campaign, as and when deemed necessary without prior notice.

7. PARTICIPATION METHOD:
To take part in the Campaign, Participant(s) are required to purchase selected SHARP product(s) (PROMO PACKAGES) at the prices indicated and in return, the Participant(s) will receive a FREE SHARP product (BUY 1, FREE 1).

7a. The PROMO PACKAGES that are offered are as follows:

Promo Package - Kitchen Appliances

7b. HOW TO CLAIM/REDEEM YOUR FREE ITEMS
All FREE item(s) must be redeemed from eSharp- https://www.esharp.com.my/redemption/ by submitting the proof of purchase. The Campaign period is until 30th September 2021 but the final deadline for Participants to claim their FREE item is on 15th October 2021, based on proof of purchase made before 1st October 2021.

8. SHARP LUCKY DRAW
In addition, upon purchase of selected SHARP products, Participants will be entitled to enter the SHARP Lucky Draw. Participant(s) will stand a chance to win in two (2) Rounds of Lucky Draw. The Winners who are selected will be announced on the following dates:
Round 1 : 17th September 2021
Round 2 : 15th October 2021

8a. HOW TO ENTER THE LUCKY DRAW:

• Every RM100 spent on the purchase of the selected SHARP product(s) will entitle the Participant to one entry for SHARP's Lucky Draw.
• Participants must register their product warranty on COCORO Life app and upload their receipt.

The Lucky Draw Winners will be selected based on these submission dates:
Round 1 : 1st August - 31st August 2021
Round 2 : 1st September - 30th September 2021

8b. The Lucky Draw Prizes are as follows:

9. The FREE item(s) will be sent out after the verification succeeds. Lucky Draw Prizes will only be delivered to the Participant(s) after 30th September 2021 for Round 1, and only after 29th October 2021 for Round 2. Please allow at least three (3) weeks to four (4) weeks for delivery of the FREE item(s) and/or Lucky Draw Prizes.

9a. The FREE item(s) and/or Lucky Draw Prizes delivery may be delayed/the exact delivery date cannot be confirmed due to the implementation of the Movement Control Order/Government lockdowns and the restrictions imposed therein.

10. The Lucky Draw Winner(s) will be announced on SHARP's official Facebook page.

11. Participants are entitled to win only one (1) prize during the Campaign period.

12. By participating in the Campaign, the Participant(s) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.

13. All entries received shall become the property of the Organiser. No responsibility will be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

14. The Organiser reserves the right to reject any entry that is found or suspected of having tampered with the Campaign process at its sole and absolute discretion without having to assign any reasons.

15. The Organiser shall not be responsible and disclaims any liability for any inaccurate product details/FREE items/Prizes supplied to any Participant by any third party connected with this Campaign.

16. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute any of the products/FREE items/Prizes with alternative products/FREE items/Prizes of similar value at any time without prior notice. Products/FREE items/Prizes are not redeemable for cash, voucher or any other items, are not transferable and are only available while stocks last.

17. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, illegible, or submitted beyond the deadline.

18. All Lucky Draw Prizes are bound by the terms and conditions attached to the Lucky Draw Prizes and must be claimed within the stipulated time frame (i.e. 1st October 2021 until 31st October 2021, for Participants residing in the Klang Valley), otherwise the Organiser shall reserve the right to have it/them forfeited. Should there be a Movement Control Order implemented during this period, SHARP/the Organiser will deliver the Lucky Draw Prizes directly to the Winners.

19. The Organiser shall have no liability to the Participant(s) in any respect whatsoever. All Participants are fully responsible for any costs incurred due to injuries, damages or claims whether directly or indirectly caused by their participation in the Campaign, publicity programs, prize presentation ceremony and from the redemption/usage of the products/FREE items/Prizes.

20. Participants shall be solely responsible for any taxes or duties payable, insurance and other additional costs involved as a result of participation in this Campaign or winning/using any products/FREE items/Prizes thereunder. By accepting/using any products/FREE items/Prizes, participants agree to indemnify the Organiser, all its business partners and other parties related to the Campaign, including their directors, officers, employees and agents from any claim, prosecution, judgement, damages, loss or liability incurred and against any failure to remit the tax payable to the relevant authorities related to his/her participation in the Campaign and his/her acceptance, redemption or use of any products/FREE items/Prizes.

21. By participating in the Campaign, the Participant has agreed and consented to give the Organiser the rights to use his/her personal particulars and/or information for the purposes of including but not limited to advertising and/or any other forms of publicity from time to time without any fees, payments, costs and expenses. The Participant may make his/her request via email to the Organiser (sharpcs.support@my.sharp-world.com) in the event he/she intends to withdraw his/her consent to disclose any personal information held by the Organiser.
